Healthy Snack List

Who doesn’t LOVE a good snack!? Snacking is probably my biggest struggle, and weakest area when it comes to self control. It’s also something that I know so many women I help struggle with as well, and so I wanted to dive deeper into what a “healthy snack” is and provide you with a list that you can refer back to throughout your healthy journey!

Who doesn’t LOVE a good snack!? Snacking is probably my biggest struggle, and weakest area when it comes to self control. It’s also something that I know so many women I help struggle with as well, and so I wanted to dive deeper into what a “healthy snack” is and provide you with a list that you can refer back to throughout your healthy journey!

Healthy to me, means being the CLOSEST to how a food is found in nature. Meaning that the MOST “healthy” items to me- are unprocessed, minimally packaged, and include minimal additives or ingredients. For example: fruits & veggies, animal products, nuts, etc.

This is a list of my favorites and my most commonly-reached for snacks based on my own personal diet and preference. I love having variety and have found these to be my favorites for both me and my family over the years! I hope this gives you some new ideas of foods to try as well! 🙂

My All-Time Favorites:

Rice Cakes & Nut Butter (Sometimes adding fruit)

Lightly Salted Popcorn

PB & Tortilla & Banana or Strawberries Toasted

Chips & Salsa

Greek Yogurt + Granola or Berries

100 Calorie Cashews + Turkey Jerky

High Protein Snacks:

Hard Boiled Eggs

Jerky (Preferably Grass-Fed or Turkey Jerky for me)

Protein Shakes (Orgain or Ora Proteins)

Tuna Packets + Pretzel Thins

Almonds or Unsalted / Roasted Nuts

Deli Turkey Slices

Cottage Cheese

Chickpeas

Broad Beans

Oatmeal
